Has any descendant of Daniel and Elizabeth Houser Brown submitted a sample for analysis to the Brown DNA Study? Daniel's grandfather, Henry Braun was said to have died at sea en route from Germany to Pennsylvania, and his son, Matthias and family subsequently migrated to Stark Co Ohio. Daniel Brown, son of Matthias, was said to have had twenty children, so there's a good chance that there are living male descendants. We don't know if there's a tie between this family and our line, but we think they migrated about the same time as our own Browns.
Does anyone know any male descendants of this Brown family who might be willing to submit a sample for analysis, either to FTDNA or to the free Sorenson Group? Our Browns are from the E3b haplogroup, and we'd like to know if this family of Brauns/Browns might be tied to our own German Browns.
Below, I've pasted a presumed early descent, simply as a reference point. I'm grateful to others who put together this work, but I think it's largely unproven.
