My Greatgrandparents Elijah and Rutha Wilson lived on a farm, according to the 1900 Greer county TX and the 1910 Beckham county OK, north of Mangum. One of the other researchers of this family says they got info from their ancestors that Rutha and her daughter Maggie died in 1898 and are buried on the old farm with a headstone or marker.
Elijah's CSA pension application verifies the date of Rutha's death as 1898.
I wonder if there is someone in the Beckham county area that knows where the Wilson farm was and if the gravesite is still there??
My brother and I are planning a trip to the area to do some research in October.
