John F. "Johnny" Bacon

Looking for information on my g-g grandfather, John F. "Johnny" Bacon.

He was maried around 1895 to (Sarah) Frances Miller of McCulloch County, Texas. They had four sons, Ralph, Zack, Roy and Armon(d) Bacon.

Frances died in 1909, leaving Johnny a widower.

In 1910, he was living with his children ni Kiowa, Roger Mills County.

I have recently obtained Johnny's diaries from 1896 to 1904, and they mention several places in Beckham and Roger Mills County, including Elk City, Sayre and Sweetwater (which Johnny lists as his home) as well as several different people he worked for.

Johnny was a traveling cowboy and farm laborer, and appeared to do a lot of work, per his diaries, on the "Davis Farm" as well as the "Miller Ranch".

If anyone has any information that could perhaps aid me in my search, it would be most appreciated!
