We've found a rather warn photograph of Thomas's religious library. It looks like printed on rag paper not photo paper.
All it says on it is Religious library in my study at Sayre
T.A. O'bryant. I do recognize the bookshelves and the books to be his. He is not in the picture. It is also not dated. My grandmother says she vaguely remembers living there so they would have lived there after 1904, the year she was born. I've found them living in Bristow OK in 1909.
He most likely was a minister at a Methodist Church in or near Sayre. I'm trying to find out what church and what time frame he was there. My mother's family was in Greer Co for over 100 yrs. Thomas was my great grandfather on my Dad's side. Lot of unanswered questions about him.
If anyone lives in Sayre, could they find out from the Methodist Church if he is listed as a minister there. It also might have been a church outside of Sayre. We do know that he had a brother living in or near Cheyenne.
Any information on the O'Bryant's in this area would be greatly appreciated.
