Jayne I think we may have a family connection. Im trying to figure out how but I know there just has to be. My gr uncle James Godwin was married in that county because his wedding certificate is on file in Anadarko Ok. My grgr grandmothers name was Ollie Godwin. James named one of his sons after her James Ollie. and I know that some other families did the same. I wish I could figure this out. Im beginning to wonder if he wasnt married twice. James was orphaned along with several other siblings at a young age and sent to live with other family members. Im thinking yours may be the family he was sent to live with.
