This is not my family but found this on 1920 census search.
I found a Amanda J. Smith on the 1920 census age 55 or 58 living on Main Street of Binger, perhaps this is yours. It’s hard to read, but it looks like she was born in Kansas and her mother was born in Virginia, can’t tell on her father’s birth place. It looks like her occupation could be nursing. She is a widow. She lives between Earnest Sherling and James C. Sherling. She is the head of the house and there are no children.
