Does anyone have information on the Tonkawa School on the road between Anadarko and Cyril? My husband always told me he went to a country school called Tonkawa and I would like to know something about it. I think it is designated as a historical site now as I have seen the school along the highway. He told me about finding arrowheads etc. all around the school area. I know there was a Battle of Tonkawa in Oklahoma history.
