I didn't find the Boelen family on the 1910 U.S. census. However, on the 1920 U.S. Census of Chandler, Comanche Co., Okla.is the following family:
Boelen, Adrien age 43 born Holland
Boelen, Cathrine age 45 born Holland
Boelen, Diana age 18 born Holland
Boelen, Johana age 17 born Holland
Boelen, John age 16 born Holland
Boelen, Bertha age 12 born Holland
All listed as aliens (Not naturalized) and year of 1mmigration as 1910. Mother tongue listed as Dutch.
Adrien Boelen occupation listed as farmer.
On the 1930 U.S. Census of Chandler, Comanche county, Okla.:
Boelen, A. age 53 born Holland
Boelen, Elizabeth age 39 born Holland (wife)
Boelen, John age 25 born Holland
Boelen, Lawrence age 5 born Oklahoma
Boelen, William J.age 11/12 born Oklahoma.
Year of immigration listed for A., and John 1909. Year of Immigration for Elizabeth 1922. So it appears that Adrien married Elizabeth and had Lawrence and William J.
All list Dutch as their native tongue. Both list their parents as born in Holland. Adrien listed as farmer in this census. They were renting their farms in both census records. Sally Gill
