I'm not sure if anyone answered your question or not but the only rock quarry that I can recall is about 3 miles east of Cement on hwy 277. If this is the one you're talking about, it is still there but hasn't been used in years. My family still lives in Cement and if you have anymore questions, please contact me at rfree10@cox.net.
