Looking for decendents of William W. BOZEMAN/BOAZMAN and Sarah F. SMITH BOZEMAN/BOAZMAN. Nellie Kate BOZEMAN (b. July 25, 1874 and died February 4, 1898) was married to George Matthew BAILEY. Nellie was the sister or half sister to my great grandfather, Walter Samuel SPEARMAN/BOZEMAN who was born June 26, 1883 in Bowie, Montague County, TX.
Walter first md a Jeannie and supposedly had a daughter. Supposedly Jeannie and the child died. Walter then married Elizabeth Eileen Holmes on October 15, 1913 in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Walter and Nellie may have had a sister, Nancy who was born between 1880 and 1899.
Nellie and George had Alvin Marcus, William Barton, James King, Roy Robert and Nellie Iva. Nellie Iva Baily md. Guy Jackson and had Doris and Flora Mae Jackson.
Walter Spearman's daughters, Lucy and Helen remember coming to Gracemont to visit Nellie Iva Bailey Jackson and her children.
After Nellie Kate Bozeman Bailey died, George Matthew Bailey remarried to Alice Bozeman, whom was supposedly a cousin of Nellie's. Alice had several childen with George.
I would like to compare notes with any descendent.
