I am not related to this family, however, I checked the 1930 census and found in Okla. City, Ok. County, Okla. the following family which I believe is your Mitchell family:
West, G.W. Husband-age 50 born Tn.-Architect of own firm
West, Gertrude Wife-41 born MO.-school teacher
Casey Mary A. 43 servant
Mitchell, Elizabeth age 70-Mother-in-law-Widow-Born Missouri
Mitchell, Arnold age 37-Born Mo.-Shoe salesman
West, Raymond G. age 23 Born Ok.-Draftsman Hwy. Dept.
So Elizabeth and her son Arnold are living with Eliz.'s daughter, Gertrude West and her husband in Ok. City after death of Romano.
I found one John Mitchell age 39 born Ok. In Pottawatomie, Ok. This may be the other son of Romano and Eliz. as he was born in Ok. Not sure but you can check on this. Hope this information will be of help to you. Sally Gill
