Does anyone have any information regarding the Cherokee Bunch’s and or Ratler’s? Especially before the Trail of Tears 1835-1836.
BUNCH’S:
My father was Eli Bunch Jr., Born in Muskogee County, Oklahoma 1924.
His father was Eli Bunch, Born in Indian Territory 1894.
My great-grandfather was Noah Bunch, Born? (As the story goes he went out for a pack of smokes and never came back).
And the best I can figure Charlie Bunch was Noah's dad. Born?
And then I know of Rabbit Bunch being a relative of some kind. Born?
RATLER:
My great-grandmother was Mary Ratler, Born possibly in Pulaski, County AR. Date?
However, because I’m dealing with our native population I’m having a hard time finding anything prior to the 1870’s, definitely before 1835-1836. And of course that is what I’m looking for.
So, if anyone has ANY information, knows of a web sit or any other place where I can find any information on the Cherokee Bunch’s and\or Ratler’s please let me know.
