Looking for info on Edward Robert Wright married to Jettie Mae Grant about 1900.
Some sources show Edward born in Lawton, Indian Territory in 1879 and some say Wichita Falls TX.
Jettie was the daughter of William Newton Grant and Cordelia Dexter Grant both from KY possibly Warren Co. Siblings were Leona, Verda and Leane. Family lore has that one of the sisters was murdered at Ft. Sill between 1906 1910 but has not been verified.
Recently found where there is a Cordelia Grant buried in Highland Cemetery with a baby boy Wright born to E.R. Wright and Jettie Wright buried in the same plot. Also buried there is Cora Grant and Dennis B.Grant(husband/wife) and Mary Grant Fietz. Owner of the lots is a Adolph Fietz. I beieve Mary and Dennis to be siblings of Cordelia.
Jettie and E.R. were found on the 1920 & 1930 census in Montaque Co, TX. Their issue were Robert, Edward Lawrence (my Grandfather), Floyd, Lloyd, Hubert and Edith.
It's taken me years to find out what small bit of info I have on them and would really appreciate any help that could shed some light on their early years.
Have early photos of them that I would be happy to share.
