I'm researching Edith Ann 'Eda' Boggs, b. abt. 1820 (location unknown). On April 17, 1839 in Hempstead, Arkansas she married James Boren (b. 1814 in Kentucky). They later moved to Texas where James died in 1848 in Collins Co. Edith died in 1863 in Comanche Co., OK. Her granddaughter Nellie Boren was thought to be part Native American and I'm guessing it was through her grandmother Edith's line. However, I've been unable to find her parents or any other information. Where would I write for a death record? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!
