To-pay was one of the last three of Comanche Chief Quanah Parker's wives. After Quanah's death in 1911, Laura Neda Parker-Birdsong and husband Aubra C Birdsong occupied Quanah's "Star-House"; it is a few houses away. To-pay and her son Kelsey lived close by.
Jessie Griggs, wife and two sons, were most likely boarders or were hired to work the Parker's farm/ranch.
