Dear Flippo surname researchers,
Forgive the vagueness of some of my statements but it's possible I may be looking for living persons.......
Below is my transcription of a 1930 Cotton Co OK census and I need to identify these persons - especially the FLIPPO's...........
1930 Cotton Co OK/ED 16/Walters/HH 161-181/pg 304b
Flippo, Perle/HH/wm age 30 Ar/Ar/Ar/ 1m age 28
Flippo, Lillee/wife/wf age 35 Ok/Tx/Tx/ 1m age 15
FLIPPO, Wanda Lou/ dtr/ wf age 03 OK/Ar/OK
Reid, Jewel/step-dtr/wf age 13 Ok/Ok/Ok
Reid, Katie Lee/step-dtr/wf age 09 Ok/Ok/Ok
Reid, Charles/step-son/wm age 05 Ok/Ok/Ok
My cousins Bobbie Jean and Paula are trying to locate their much older half-sister (name with held) whom they have never met. Their father was Paul Samuel "Pete" DIFFEY (deceased) - his 1st wife was "Wanda" [FLIPPO}. "Pete" and Wanda were not married many years before they divorced.
I believe that 3 year old Wanda in the census above was Paul Diffey's 1st wife. Their only child together was born 1944 in California while "Pete" was in the military.
I'm not sure whether the HH was "Perle" or "Berle" ???
I'm not sure whether "Perle" or "Berle" ia a nickname ???
I'm not sure whether Lillee was Wanda's step-mother ???
Please email me if you know anything about the family in the above 1930 census - especially a marriage record ? death record ? burial record ?
