Before my grandfather, J.B. Byrd died, he told me in the early to mid 1940's he hung out around Barnsdall, Bristow, and Oilton. He dated an unknown girl that subsequently became pregnant. He did not find out about this until he went away to war and she wrote him and asked him what he wanted to do about it. At the time he did not feel that he could do anything for her so they had no further contact. Later on he learned from someone that she had a baby girl. So I am looking for a woman, aged around mid 60's that was born in or around the Creek county area, in the 1940's to an unwed mother or possibly a mother that married someone else during her pregnancy. My Grandfather died in 1998 but my Mother is alive and interested in finding her sister. If this could be any of you or someone you know please contact me. Thanks.
