I am looking for any information on a George H. Humphrey (1871 - 1955). He attended Maryville College. His hometown was listed as Gamble, TN. He fought in the Spanish American War. He married Susie Campbell of Blount county, TN.
We have a handwritten family tree that lists his father as Joseph and his grandfather as Joseph. The information from Maryville College also has his father listed as Joseph.
George, Susie & kids moved to Creek county, OK about 1915. Someone from the Campbell family remembers that he was from the mountains in East TN. Also, the handwritten note had his middle name listed as Henderson.
