I am researching a female blues singer/vaudeville performer who worked in OK 1913-1922. She spent quite a bit of time in Creek County (Sapulpa, Drumright, Cushing, Shamrock, Oilton0 and also Tulsa and Bartlesville, OKC.
I am endeavoring to locate informaiton about the theaters she playe in. One theater identified is the Criterion in Sapulpa. There may have been others.
Does anyone reading this foum know if there is a respitory somewhere in Sapulpa that might have printed information or photos of the old theaters (1913-1922) of the Sapulpa area.
All informaiton appreciate.
