I need help from someone around the area of Kansas Oklahoma who would possibly check for a record of John L Howard being buried there around 1943. He is not listed in the Cemetry list. His son Robert Lee Howard is buried there. John Howard married Ella Ward after Frank Ward died. John Howard was listed in the 1930 census as a mail carrier in that area.
I recently talked with Marvin Sherman who is 80 and he told me he helped dig the grave of John Howard in the Kansas Cemetry when he was around 16. That would be about 1943. He didn't have any other information.
Marvin was a grandson of Ella Sherman Ward Howard.
Help with any information on these names is greatly appreciated. Thanks
