Clarks in Sickle Twp. - 1900s

Can anyone help me find out when my great-grandparents moved to Sickle Twp., Dewey Co.? John William Clark and his wife Mary Elizabeth were there in the 1910 Census, but I don't know how much earlier than that. I'm pretty sure they rented land, so won't be found in land records, but maybe someone has another kind of reference to them such as sales, church, voting, etc. They were living just across the county line
into Blaine Co. when they died and both are buried in Watonga.

Their neighbors in 1910 were: Aquila Benbow, Alison Park, Henry Foster & Jacob Bass.
