It seems I have sent you some data, or perhaps emailed you before. I am researching the Meals, Griffin, Barr, Tidmore, Sullivan, Wilcox (in Hollis OK) and I just wonder if I have communicated with you on one of my other lines, not realizing that you grew up in Hollis.
My mother, Dorothy Wilcox, grew up in Hollis. Born in Eldarado OK in 1922, they moved to Hollis by 1924. Her father was Garland Wilcox. Her sister was Ruby George. Their brother, Grady, married Ora Tice. She is still alive and well in Amarillo Tx.
Mother and Olen are the only children left, as Grady died, and is buried at McKnight, about 2 years ago now. Bobbie Wilcox was their son. He married Callie Cummins.
Ora's mother was probably Minnie Tice, b ca 1875 d 1968, but I do not know if William and Minnie were married. He was b 1882 d 1975 and I suppose not, as Ora's mother out lived her husband by many years. Otis Tice was her brother. He died in 1992. I think, perhaps,Lula Tice was their mother.
