Hi Kay, thanks for the reply. I do know for a fact that the Thomas Smith buried in Dryden cemetery is the correct one due to death certificates and birth certificates of grandsons etc. What I don't know is where AJ died and when. On THomas's death certificate it states father AJ Smith, mother Jane Smith (Hepsebeth); it also states that AJ born in IL but all census records I have found except one says he was born in KY. Either way, I have not found hide nor hair of him after the 1900 census and before the 1850 census. I believe he may have been married around 1848 probably Carroll county to a Celia Ann Unknown and with 1 child Henry in the same Township. That part of the county was redrawn in Nov 1969 and became Boone county. In 1870 Thomas was born. I believe that AJ and Jane were married in 1869-1870 although I have not found a marriage certificate or bond for them. I do find them in the 1870, 80, and 1900 census. This is the last document I find them in until 1910, Bryan County, OK census however, AJ is not listed. Thomas and his wife, Linda Frances Price along with Jane and sister Ruthey are listed. But no AJ. I have yet to find AJ's birth location, death date, and death location, or his parents. I also have not found a name for the third child. I have an extensive history on Jane. but little on AJ. Any help greatly appreciated. It is possible that the ones in Louis-Bethel are related although the names aren't failiar to me.
