I found the following clipping in an old family bible. The newspaper and the date thereof will not on the clipping.
OBITUARY
William Travis Thomas was born March 7th, 1890, in Wayne Co., Ky. Departed this life April 3rd 1909 at his house nine miles north east of Supply [Oklahoma] at the age of nineteen (sic) years and 26 days.
He leaves father, mother, two brothers and three sisters viz: Lena Irwin of Burnsides, Ky., Roma, Opal, Anna and Wane Thomas. He was a general favorite, the old and young both loved him while he was especially loved by those of his own age.
We all extend our tenderest sympathy to those left behind and would gladly help bare their sorrow if we could.
Oh how we will miss our Travie. Will God alone will know our pain. But the blessed sweet assurance We sometime (sic) meet again.
