On the 1800 Census for Union County, South Carolina, there is a John Kirby (age 45 and over)listed. Also, listed: Boland, William, and Francis (all listed as 26 to 45 years). I feel that these are John's sons.Does anyone know if this is true? Does anyone know if any of these people had a son named James?

My line is James Kirby, born about 1790, Virginia and died about 1862, Union County, South Carolina. He would have been about 9 or 10 at the time of the 1800 Census for, Union County, South Carolina. I am trying to find his father, so that I can continue my search. Right now, I seem to be stuck and need some help!!!!!!

My line goes like this:

James Kirby Sr. (GGGG Grand-father)
Born - about 1790, Virginia
Died - 1862, Union County, South Carolina
Spouse - Sarah (last name unknown to me), born about 1801, in South Carolina.

James Kirby Jr. (GGG Grand-father)
Born - 1824, Union County, South Carolina
Died - 1896, Mississippi
Spouse - Julia Harvey , Born in South Carolina

Leland(Lee)Kirby (GG Grand-father)
Born - Nov. 11, 1853, Union County, South Carolina
Died - Nov. 2, 1917, Hess, Jackson County, Oklahoma
Spouse - Minnie Jane Madden

Joe Andrew Kiby (Grand-father)
Born - Dec. 27,1896, Hess, Jackson County, Oklahoma
Died - Nov. 14, 1985, Durant, Bryan County, Oklahoma
Spouse - Ester Mae Harmon
