Anyone reading this board who is connected to the family of William Arthur Hood and his wife, Nellie (maybe Willie - the census is kind of hard to read).
Arthur, who was a constable in Jefferson County, Oklahoma was working with Deputy Sheriff Louis Harvill on January 28, 1928 when both were shot. Harvill died almost immediately, but Hood died a few days later in the hospital.
I have found Arthur on the 1920 and 1910 census. I would like to know where he is buried. Two of his sons are buried in the Waurika, Jefferson County, OK cemetery.
Any information appreciated.
