I am reading the old Cornish newspapers for a project that I am working on so when I got to August, 1905 I specifically watched for your Sexton person. Nothing was found.
While some issues were missing (the newspapr was a weekly)there simply were no items in it about Healdton. You have to keep in mind that in 1905 the only means of travel in the area was by horseback, buggy or wagon. More interesting, there were not that many death notices at all in the paper. People were more interested in upcoming statehood and whether the Oklahoma and Indian Territories would be one state or two states.
