Hey Betty: I remember you! Great to hear from you. Boy, you have a lot of history there yourself. After retiring, I started researching and writing. In the back of my mind I thought I might write about Cornish. But I am glad you told me about Mary Wilson writing the History of Cornish. It is a terrific history. Please tell Mary that the Public LIbrary in Ardmore has a photo of the gin that was once in Cornish. It is a great picture. In the back of my mind it seems that they had a couple more photos of Cornish also. Wow! you have a photo of the old Cornish school. The Oklahoma Historical Society at Oklahoma City has all (nearly all) the old newspapers on microfilm. At one time Cornish had a newspaper. I have read it several times tracing different stories. Tell Mary if she needs some help with articles etc. from the OHS newspapers, to send me an email. I'll be glad to help her. Shucks, just give her my email address while you are at it. I've been doing research for the Oklahoma Law Enforcement Memorial until I can decide what I want to write about. I've been very fortunate in that I've gotten several stories published, and have two under consideation with the Chronicles of Oklahoma and two others supposed to be coming out in Sept/Oct. I'm so glad you responded. I don't get back down to Ringling very often, but do think of it nearly every day. Notify Administrator about this message?
