Jim,
Went to the Blackwell Cem. & found that James/Irene are buried with one stone Sp.1 Lot 3 Blk 185. This is off her personal card in their files--Born Nov.23,1904 in Cherryvale, KS. to Fred & Mary (Mayer)Vetter. Died Nov.7,1993 in Blackwell, OK,
Survived by nieces & nephews.
Preceded in death by 2 brothers, Bill & Fred Vetter, 3 sisters, Thelma McGee, Letha Leona Turner, & Mary Cheney.
Roberts Funeral Home held Graveside services with Rev. Geoffrey Pfaff of First Presbyterian Church officiating.
No children were mentioned, so they evidently didn't have any.
So while the Sexton & I were reading her card, I noticed the name Turvey was on the card. Checked into that and found she had married a Harold Turvey in Arkansas City,Ks.

Harold died in 1990 in Houston,TX. But he is buried here in the Blackwell Cemetery. Just spectulation on my part but there is a major Cancer Treatment Hospital in Houston, so he may have had cancer & died down there.
