Charles C. Sheets is enumerated in three Kay Counry, OK federal censuses.
1900-106/108, Weston Township, Kay County, Oklahoma, page 206
1910-194/200, 2-WD Blackwell, Kay County, Oklahoma, page 48
1920-181/207, 2-WD Blackwell, Kay County, Oklahoma, page 228

George C. Sheets and second wife Melissa Duvall VanDyke (nee Roberts), along with step-daughter Melissa VanDyke, age 10, and grandson Ralph Guier, age 17, are found living in Blackwell Township, Kay County, Oklahoma in the 1920 census.

Grandson Ralph Guier, b. ca. 1903, is the son of George C. Sheets' daughter Carrie D. Sheets. Stepdaughter Melissa VanDyke, b. ca. 1910, is the daughter of Joseph Gordon VanDyke and Melissa Duvall Roberts who were married Januay 18, 1888 in Elk Creek, Texas County, Missouri.

Carrie D. Sheets, b. October 1875, Kansas, married John Edwin Guier January 10, 1892 in Hutchinson County, Kansas.

In 1900, John Guier, wife Carrie, and son Paul B. Guier, age 2 are enumerated in 11-TWP, Creek County, Indian Territory, page 131, 151/153.

A biography of John's father Charles Guier, of Victoria Township, Rice County, Kansas, published in 1902 stated that John was living in Henrietta, Indian Territory.

John E. Guier was granted 111.33 acres of land in Kay County under the Homestead Act. (September 17, 1908-Homestead Entry: Lots 3,4,&5 and the SWQtr of the NWQtr of Section 18, 29Twp, R2West,Guthrie Land Office, Kay County, Oklahoma)

Carrie died sometime between the birth of Ralph in 1904, and the second marriage of John E. Guier to Donna Isabell Webb on the 26th of September 1906 in Oklahoma City. John and Donna meandered the southwest into Texas and down into Mexico, eventually settling in Decatur, Alabama. Son Paul B. Guier went west to California, and died Novevember 22, 1968 in San Leandro, Alameda County.

Whatever happened to son Ralph Guier? Are there gravestones for George C. Sheets, fist wife Louisa B., and daughters Carrie D. (Sheets) Guier and sister Corrie Sheets in Kay County? What year did George C. Sheets marry Melissa Duvall VanDyke (nee Roberts)?
