I have learned from a 1980 family history
done by Faye Ryder, descendant of Lucy Hodson Ryder> George Benton Hodson, that
J. W. Hodson of Snyder Oklahoma IS Jonathan Wesley Hodson(son of Jonathan Hodson and Delilah Hart) married to Mary L. Hart(both buried in Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder OK
(records online http://rebelcherokee.labdiva.com/snydrg-j.html )
They appear in Seward Co. NE, in the 1880 C with
son Willie, aka William Franklin, 2 years old, b. WI, May 1878.
In Faye Ryder's history, kindly provided by Shirleta Benfield, pg 43, she reveals the next child is;
Jonathan Andrew Hodson b July 1880. He married Sarah Rosiland Gregg, who married 2nd to Youtsey. John Andrew Hodson remarried to Mary Wykoff. They are all buried in Pawnee Co. OK, in the Terlton Cemetery (records online).
Alma May Hodson b May 1882, married George Allen
James Madison Hodson was b June 1883, buried Fairlawn Cem Snyder OK
George Benton Hodson b Dec 25, 1885 in Russiaville IN, married Ida Lee Cook. Buried Fairlawn Cem Snyder OK.
Ernest Allen Hodson b Dec 1887, buried Fairlawn Cem Snyder OK
Charles Theodore b in Russiaville IN, April 1896, married Ruth Dancer, buried Fairlawn Cem., Snyder OK
