Paula I am going to be gone a few days. If you will email me privately at [sha9876 @ hotmail.com] I will see if I can find more on your family for you. Please put KIOWA County Cemeteries, in the subject line, and put in all infor for the two you have-birth-death info and names of children, Ect. As much as you might have. You might also post to the Kiowa County Pages on Rootseb--Rod Pope--has a good listing of Cemetery residents, for the county. The White's I have as buried in the Springhill Cemetery are: [From list found on The Cherokee Rebel Web pages for Kiowa County, OK by Ethel Taylor] WHITE Cecil 1905-1911 Charles K. 1865-1935 Emma 1857-1937 Idyll 1880-1944 Walter 1880-1964 Are any of these in your family tree? Your White's may well be buried there with no marker or with a field stone as marker. This is an older Cemetery. I have not personally walked this Cemetery--and it will be a while before I can get out that way--about 25 miles. I have walked the Uniondale Cemetery-which is about 8-or so miles from the Springhill Cemetery--Many of the markers there are just a Surname, many are sunken in the gound. Just to let you know the older Cemeteries around here are not all marked well. What makes you think your family is buried there? A letter or an entry in a Bible-Then they probably are.
