Thank you for getting back to me. Several of the family were married in Guthrie. My grandfather Harrison(Harry) Wayne Painter and Flora L. (Finch) Painter were married October 16th, 1897, in Guthrie, at her parents home. I believe two other Painter's were married in Guthrie or somewhere in Oklahoma. Also, some of the Finch family were married in Guthrie.
My big concern is finding when my great grandmother Sarah Elizabeth (Martin) Painter died. It was sometime in the early 1930's. I want to say 1932 or 1934. She lived with her daughter Maude (Painter) (Kemp) Livington. They lived in New York City. I have the 1930 census from New York City. I do not where she is buried? She is not buried with her husband William Wayne Painter in Guthrie, Logan County, Oklahoma.
Up until the middle of August 2001 my son Wade and his family lived in MarbleHead, Mass. He now lives in Mill Valley, California. He is a CPA.
If you can find any information that would be a help. Thank you for giving me information on Guthrie, Logan County, OK events for the 100 years.
