Does anyone know anything about Pruett or Pruitt Green and Idelene or Idalene Green? Pruett and Idelene were siblings.
I found a cemetery record for J Pruitt Green b. 1910 d. 1934. The birth date would be about right as he apparently married Irene Sizemore in 1926 and the marriage was annulled by her parents. She was only 17.
Pruett and Idelene are mentioned in an autobiography of Irene's sister Dorothy written in October of 1927, just one month apparently before the marriage was annulled. She referred to him as perhaps Prutle or Prutte (handwriting and copy difficult to read) and her sister's sister-in-law Idelene Green.
I would like to confirm this story backed up by a marriage index reference for an Irene Sizemore (no groom name given).
What happened to Pruett/Pruitt? And also Idelene?
