My baby sisters are NOT listed in the Rubottom Cemetery, Love Co., OK books or websites but they are buried there.
I would like to set the record straight so that they will not be lost to future researchers. My sisters are buried side by side with matching headstones. I have visited their graves all my life and have retraced their names on their stones with permanent markers several times but it soon fades away. You have to do a rubbing to read their names. They do not appear in Ralph Evans’ copy of the cemetery nor on the Oklahoma website listing those who are buried in the Love County cemeteries.

Juanita Louise Warthen b. April 9, 1930 - d. April 9, 1930
Betty Jean Warthen b. Feb. 2, 1931 – d. Feb. 15, 1931
They are the children of Guy G. Warthen and Rena B. Chitwood. They raised four boys and one girl after the death of these babies.
The babies are near the back fence and one row west of the row which holds the bodies of their Gatlin great grandparents listed below.
GATLIN, MARK, 3 AUG 1834 - 12 NOV 1908, 39, RUBOTTOM, Love
GATLIN, A E, 18 AUG 1850 - 5 FEB 1908, 39, RUBOTTOM, Love
Correction: A.E. died 5 March 1935, Rubottom, Love Co., OK
Their Warthen grandparents are buried a few rows east of them.

WARTHEN, ORA LEE, 1878 - 1943, 39, RUBOTTOM, Love
