I am looking for some information on Marietta,Love county,Okla.and the cemeteries around there.I know that Nathan [Nathaniel] W.Daughtrey and his wife Mary and possibly some of their children are buried in the Lakeview Cemetery.I am also looking for the grave of his sister Mary Jane Daughtrey Gibson and was told recently that she might also be buried at or near Marietta.Is there any other cemeteries there that she might be buried in or at ? Her husband was buried in the IOOF section of a cemetery here in Texas and I was told to look for her in an IOOF section of a cemetery in other towns where the family was known to live at about the same time she died.I was told recently by another family member that she might be buried at Marietta.
Is there anyone that does lookups for this county or is there anyone that goes to the local cemeteries and look for graves for other people ? Also is there a funeral home in Marietta that was there in the early 1900's that would have death and burial records for that time period ? I am going on a research trip this summer and I will come to Oklahoma if need be or if it would do me any good to do so. So I need someone to let me know if any of these records exist and if there is any other cemetery near Marietta that Mary Jane could possibly be buried in.I do realize that she could be buried in the Lakeview cemetery with or close to where Nathaniel Daughtry and his family members are buried and that her grave might not be marked with a headstone or anything else with her name on it.Thanks in advance for any help on this matter.
