I am looking for the mother of Thomas Vinson Brown, born 1882. His father's name was James W. Brown (or Jim), and the Browns were Cherokee and lived around Vinita.

The mother's name has been reported as Julia Briggs, but this may not be accurate. Family info states she was Choctaw, but she might have been Chickasaw.

Any information would be helpful. Thank you.
