I agree with Mr. Kerwin that you will probably need to go the Death Certificate and/or SS records route. Here is what I could find: SSDeath Index: Ruby Maples b. 28 Jan 1917, d. 12 April 2007. Death Residence Localities: Pink, Pottawatomie Co. OK and Tecumseh, Pottawatome Co. OK. I tried to find obituaries for Ruby and her mother but found only a Death Notice: The Oklahoman, April 15, 2007 Shawnee (probably turned in by the Shawnee newspaper) Ruby Hazel Maples, age 89, died Thursday. Private Services (Resthaven, Oklahoma City) The Oklahoman, Dec. 7, 1991 Tuttle Therese Long, age 99. Graveside services, 10:30 AM Saturday, Sunnylane Cemetery, Bill Merritt South. The Oklahoma Newspaper Archives located in the Oklahoma History Center, Oklahoma City, does have the Tuttle Newspaper on microfilm for the year 1991. If you live anywhere in the area of central Oklahoma it might be worth your while to come to Oklahoma City to the Dept of Public Health to seek a death certificate, and/or read the Tuttle newspaper microfilm to look for an obit for Therese Mae Long. I would be glad to check the newspaper, but I don't know when I might make a trip to the library. I don't have Ancestry.com and my HeritageQuest census records do not include 1930. I did see that Ancestry.com has a 1930 census record for a Therese M. Long, born about 1892, living in Whiteside Co. IL in 1930. You might consider posting a request for someone with access to Ancestry.com to look up that 1930 entry. Good luck. Notify Administrator about this message?
