I am seeking the location of burial of Roger Harrison Bird who died while in the service in 1918. His name is on the plaque in Gainesville, Texas as one of Cooke County's men lost in World War I.
His 1917 draft registration information indicates that he was born in Sivells Bend, Texas Jan. 15, 1889 and was residing in Bailey, Grady County Oklahoma at the time of the draft registration in June 1917.
He appears to be the only child of John and Hattie Bird
Census 1900 Cooke County Texas
John Oct. 1849
Hattie Feb. 1856
Roger H. Jan. 1889

Census 1910 Harrison Township Grady Okla
John 60
Hattie 56
Roger H.

Roger appears on the Texas Death Index on Mar 10, 1918...
possibly in training at Camp Travis.
I don't find his family after the 1910 Census.
thanks
