Here is a link that provides an image of the death certificate for Roger H. Bird who died at the base hospital. It states that the body was removed to Rush Springs Oklahoma for burial.

Click on the map for Canada, USA and Mexico.
Scroll down to Texas Deaths 1890 - 1976. This is the link with the death certificates.
You need fill in only the name Roger Bird and you will find the name Roger H. Bird. Click on the image to the left of his name, to view the death certificate.
I did not find his name on the Rush Springs Cemetery online list, but it does say it is a partial list. You might try contacting Rush Springs, or post a request at the Grady County Message board to see if someone could check for a more complete list of burials in that cemetery.
