William M BAILEY b ca 1824/5 Cocke Co, TN according to his military papers m ca 1845 Elizabeth BRACKEN, b ca 1824. This family is on the Monroe Co, TN 1850, 60 and 70 census. Then the family left TN and came to Montague County, TX and then to Indian Territory in what is now Stephens Co, OK. The children were: Sarah Elizabeth b 1846; Charlotte b 1847; Mary b 1848; John b 1849; Sofronia b 1852; Emma b 1853; William D b 1854; Margaret b 1855; George W b 1858; Leuvenia b 1859; Susan b 1862 and Nancy b 1864. (Poor Elizabeth, she was washing diapers every year from 1846 thru 1862!)
William Bailey died in Comanche Ok. 4 Feb 1902 and is buried at the Fairlawn Cemetery, Comanche, Ok.

He served in the Civil War for the North.
