The Payne County marriage index does not have marriages for Ruby Rice, Ruth Rice, Esther M. Johnson, nor Lila Lillian Ward/Johnson to Jefferson Isaac B. Rice. However, there is a marriage of Lillie Rice, age 41, white, born TX, resident Stillwater, OK, to W.B. Kirkham, age 50, white, born MO, resident Stillwater OK on 2/20/1933 by W.C. McCory, Justice of the Peace, Justice Court, Stillwater, OK, with witnesses Elizabeth Tousey and J.F. Ramsey and can be found in Payne County marriage book 18, page 516. Again checking the Stroud Funeral Home records and Mahlon Erickson's "Payne County Cemetery Index" does not show W.B. Kirkham and Lillie Kirkham being buried in Payne County.
