I am searching for descendants of John D. and Mary "Mollie" Whetsel Cobble. Mary Mathilda "Mollie" Whetsel Cobble was my 3rd cousin on my father's Osborne side. Mollie's mother, Sarah E Osborne Whetsel and William Joseph Osborne, my g.grandfather, were brother and sister. I have tried unsuccessfully to find information about their mother, Esther Osborne. Esther Osborne lived with her daughter Sarah and husband Argel Martin Whetsel along with Mollie and her siblings until shortly after Sarah died in childbirth. I'm hoping to find family photos or at least some knowledge of Esther Osborne and her parents.
I have traced John D. and Mary Mathilda "Mollie" Cobble from their birthplaces in TN as follows:
John D. Cobble b. April, 1861 in probably Roane Co, TN (1st census in 1870, d. 1937* and Mollie as Mary Mathilda Whetsel b. 14 June, 1869 in Washington Co, TN d/o Martin Argel Whetsel and Sarah E. Osborne Whetsel(b. Sept,1847 d.Apr 29, 1884). Mollie died Feb 1955*(buried on the 18th).
John and Mollie had the following children:
Florence b. Sept 1888 TN( I believe md. Ben F. Hayes)
W. Martin b. Jan 1890 TN d. 6/12/1915*
Mac A b. Oct 1892 MO d. 8/29/1960*
John Argle b. July 1895 MO d. Apr, 1955*
Albert Virgle b. Mar 1895 MO d. 10/21/1901*
Joseph Earl b. Oct 1899OK d. 2/20/1980*
Millie B. b. abt 1903 OK
Charles A. b. abt 1905 OK d. 2/3/1978*
Arthur B. b. abt 1908 OK d. 1/31/1955*

The 1930 Eagle, Payne Co, OK census shows the following Cobble households living next to each other:
John Argle, Florence E and John G(2 11/12)
John D, Mary M and Charlie A(25)
Earl J, Douvie M, Edith M(9), Beaulah E(7), Norma J(2yr 6 mo), Lilly Anne(2 mo)
Mack A, Nellie M, Johnnie W(14)
