Searching for information on the family of James W. Corter. The following is the information that I currently have the on the family:
James W. Corter married Mary Ann McElmurry (4 February 1875-14 March 1927) on 3 April 1898 and later settled in Pontotoc County, Oklahoma. The children of James W. and Mary Ann McElmurry Corter were: John Leo Corter (27 January 1906-4 August 1975) married (1)Iva Nellie Allen (21 September 1910-24 July 1985) on 23 Deceember 1928 in Pontotoc County, Oklahoma, and (2)Thelma O’Neal; Mary E. Corter (born ca. 1908); and Willie Ray Corter (7 January 1911-22 March 1985).
