Between 1904 and 1908 there was an Evelyn, OK. I am trying to find information of this town, township or area. Below is an obit that mentions the area.
A SAD DEMISE
Died at her home near Evelyn, Monday Jan, 13, 1pm Mary G. Beloved wife of
J. Lee Freeman. The remains were shipped to Jefferson, Tx. The childhood
home of the deceased besides the husband she leaves a father, mother,
sister and host of friends to morn her lose. Mrs. Freeman was a true
good woman and was loved best by those who knew here intimately. The
bereaved husband has the sympathy of the entire community in his great
