This is who I think are the parents of Edwin (Edward) E. Howard

Emer E. , Son, born Jan 1886, age 14, MO TX IN
Effy A., Daughter, born ? 1889, age 11, MO TX IN
Goldie E., Son, born apr. 1891, age 9, MO TX IN
Hillary, Daughter, born ? 1894, age 6 MO TX IN
Paul P., Son, born ? 1896, age ?, MO TX IN
Gracie, Daughter, born ? 1898, age 2, OK TX IN
Pearl, Daughter, born ? 1900, age 2/12, OK TX IN
Note: This census was very hard to read and the “?” are the parts that I couldn’t make out. I am assuming that Emer E. is Edwin (maybe Emer is his first name and Edwin Edward his middle – but Emer was all smudged so that may even be wrong).
Also in this census it shows that Jeff and Catherine had been married for 16 years and that Catherine had 7 children with 7 children still living at the time of this census.

Note: in this census it shows Jeff and Catherine both on their first marriage and being married for 26 years at the time of this census. It also shows Catherine had 10 children with 9 still living at the time of this census. I would assume that Gracie (from the 1900 census) is the child that died.
This family would tie into Edwin’s because according to the Center Chapel Cemetery, Roger Mills County, State of Oklahoma all of these family members are there (with Jefferson D. being Jeff):
