She was born Oct 15, 1890 in Young County, Texas to William Carter and Nancy Annie Cheek. She moved to Oklahoma near the Brantley community and married Oder E. Allen on Feb. 17, 1910 in Brantley. They moved near Strong City to make their home. Mrs Allen had lived in the Durham community the last few years. Rule had been a Friona resident since 1929, moving to Friona from Cheyenne, Oklahoma. He was born October 19, 1909, in Strong City, Oklahoma. Rule was a retired farmer.He married Inez Allen December 29, 1931 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Survivors include the wife, Inez; one daughter, Mrs. Patsy Riley of Friona; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Deaton of Lubbock, Texas, Mrs. Avis Wilkerson of Temple and Mrs. Zayde Griffith of Friona.Five brothers also survive: Bob of Friona, Boots of Dolores, Colorado, Buddy of Port Isabel, Texas, Ben of Atlanta, Georgia, and Jim of Yuma, Arizona. Wright was born December 23, 1909 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Addie Belle and George Washington Wright and passed away April 25, 1994 in the Roger Mills Memorial Hospital at the age of 84 years, 4 months and 2 days. Jesse moved with his parents east of Roll, Oklahoma in 1925. He married A. Odessa "Jackie" Allen on April 20, 1935 in Arnett, Oklahoma. They lived east of Roll until they moved to Crawford in 1945 to make their home where he was a farmer, daityman and after his retirement became a carpenter. It could be said that his hobby was helping other people. Jesse was always there giving blood when anyone called and needed help. He was a member of the Crawford Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 28, 1994 at the Crawford Church of Christ officiated by Ray Don Jackson and assisted by Earl Reed. Interment will be in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral service.
