I'm researching John M. ALLEN family who is on Seminole 1920 Census' as they are connected to
my Montgomery family...
Mollie Montgomery married 1) Alan MONTGOMERY, Hopkins Co TX in 1892; they had several kids, Liddie (Lydia)1893; Elbert,1899; Alva C; 1901; Ruby L, 1902; & Stella, 1904; (DOB approx; they moved to I.T.,where he died abt 1905 in Hughes Co- bur. Non Cem. Non, OK; then she mar. John M. ALLEN in 1906 at Stuart, OK
John M.ALLEN already had Willie H. 1889; Claudie M 1895 abt); Etta M or Mary E. ALLEN 1896, when he mar Mollie in 1906. Then he and Mollie had Henry S ALLEN, age 2 in 1910 Census.
In 1920 Miller (Seminole Co) Census, Claude ALLEN and wife, Eva are in same HH as his father, John ALLEN;
also on 1920 is Stella Montgomery (listed as Allen), Henry Allen, and Janie Allen--and John says he is a Widow.
I'm assuming Mollie died between
1910-1920--but where is she buried? and John? Did she die before the family moved to Seminole County?
1930 Garvin Co. Census, John M. 75 yrs, is in HH with son-in-law,
Jake Riley and wife, Mary E. Riley.
Mollie/Alan Monontgomey kids are half-bro/sis to my grandfather Montgomery;
I would be glad to know anything at all about any of them--mariages, where they're buried---descendants...anything...and if I can help you, please let me know.
