Would anyone in Tillman County, Grandfield OK have any information on Bessie Lawn? In 1920 OK.,ED169 Page 1B Dwelling 14/20. West Fifth Street it list Bessie Lawn, head, white, 30 married, read, writes,b. Texas, father Georgia, mother Alabama, waitress at cafe. Louis Slaughter, son white, 12 attends school, reads, writes. b. TX,parents TX. Bessie had been married to Dudley Richard Slaughter in 1905 Bonham, TX and lived in Ardmore, OK until 1916 when I lost contact of them. I believe she divorced Slaughter and married Lawn.
