I am still looking for my grandfather an African American gentleman by the name of Ed or Edward Thomas or his chilren Mary, Norvella,Clarence and Eddie. He married my grandmother Viola Banks-Johnson after she moved to the Tillman county area from Ft Worth , Tx. They had one child together Evelyn Thomas (my mother) the other children he had from a previous relationship. My grandfather is most likely buried there in Grandfield Cemetary in 1962. I was told there shows another gravesite for a Coil Thomas but was owned by my grandfahter Ed Thomas ( a possible relative). Im trying to locate his family,who his parents sister or brothers were or any offspring living . I heard Mary and Norvella may have went to California and Nevada. I dont know where my uncles Clarence and Eddie went to . I did find a military record for clarence was stationed at Ft sill, ok. Please any help with locating these family,
